On June 26, Pycap CEO Stuart Browne, Pycap Operations Manager Amelia Dookhee and two interns travelled to Hanover, Grey County, Ontario. The purpose of the trip was for Stuart to instruct the region’s government Economic Development Officers on how they can advise early stage companies in seeking funding for growth and development.
After the presentation the Pycap team received a tour of Grey County and learned about the many different industries and innovations domiciled in the region. These include companies that utilize artificial intelligence and internet of things to farm trout, a fully automated dairy farm equipped with robots to milk cows and detect health concerns, and ancillary businesses serving the nearby company Bruce Power, one of the worlds’ largest nuclear power plants.
