Toronto Tech Week (TTW) is a, May 25–29, 2026, citywide, volunteer-run, non-profit initiative celebrating the Toronto-Waterloo tech ecosystem through hundreds of community-led events. It serves as a locally owned, decentralized alternative to global conferences, fostering connections among founders, investors, and talent. It was created in 2025 to showcase Toronto’s role as a top AI and innovation hub. The inaugural 2025 event attracted over 15,000 attendees to more than 300+ independently hosted events in 26+ neighborhoods. Over 400 partner organizations contributed to the first-year programming. The 2026 edition is supported by a multi-year partnership with the City of Toronto and major players like Shopify and Google For Startups.
This landmark gathering brings together global art, frontier technology, and an incredible community of founders, creators, and innovators: offering a first public look inside internationally acclaimed artist Krista Kim’s Heart Space, the world’s first collaborative AI-generative immersive artwork powered by real-time biometric data, as she returns home following major exhibitions across Hong Kong, London, Barcelona, Seoul, Dubai, Las Vegas, New York, and more.
