In an landscape increasingly populated by deepfakes, automated bots, and generative AI capable of mimicking human voice and facial features, traditional identifiers are becoming highly vulnerable to manipulation.
Heart Space acts as a philosophical and functional response to this existential challenge. It approaches the human body’s bio-electrical output not merely as healthcare data, but as an irreplicable asset of individual sovereignty. The project advocates for "AI Humanism"—utilizing advanced algorithms to bridge data with deeper human connection, empathy, and decentralized identity, rather than treating information as a purely commercial transaction. Within the installation, these internal rhythms are mapped into five distinct chromatic zones reflecting real-time emotional and equilibrium states:
Yellow: States of equilibrium, calm, and clarity.

The critical hardware and software architecture driving Heart Space is developed by Tenbeo, an ethical biotechnology and security firm based in Brussels, Belgium. Founded in 2019, Tenbeo has pioneered an authentication infrastructure rooted in advanced biometric AI and zero-knowledge proof architecture.
Tenbeo’s involvement bridges the gap between digital art and high-security utility through several core components:
Proprietary AI Modeling: When participants interface with Tenbeo’s specialized one-lead stainless steel ECG electrode sensors, an AI trained via deep learning analyzes more than 250 distinct features of the user's electrocardiogram (ECG) waveform. The resulting mathematical model—the "Heart Signature"—attains a 99.98% authentication accuracy rate.
Zero-Knowledge Cryptography: Crucially, the system operates under a zero-knowledge protocol. It generates a non-transferable, immutable cryptographic private key pair directly from the heart’s electrical patterns without storing, extracting, or transmitting raw biometric data to the cloud. This ensures identity is verified locally on the device without creating centralized vulnerability points.
Real-World Anti-Spoofing and Utility: Beyond the exhibition walls where four participants simultaneously merge their heart signatures onto a shared 4K digital canvas, Tenbeo is scaling this technology for commercial applications. This includes their consumer device, Livbeo®, designed to act as a physical human security layer to prevent phishing, identity fraud, and unauthorized actions by autonomous AI agents. At the event, it was noted that these personalized heart signatures are expanding into digital watermarks for emails and platforms, allowing users to provide heart-based cryptographic approval across digital networks.

The afternoon session featured cross-disciplinary panel discussions and live demonstrations of Tenbeo’s continuous authentication and AI identity security layers.
