Stuart Browne is CEO of Pycap and a seasoned venture capital and corporate finance leader with deep experience supporting early-stage and growth-stage companies. With a portfolio of 19 companies, he works closely with founders on fundraising, strategy, and scaling.

​Stuart co-founded and served as CFO of ChargerQuest, an EV infrastructure company that raised more than $4 million.

​He has also served on the investment committee of an Ontario government-backed fund with $350mn assets under management, giving him a strong perspective on how capital, innovation, and execution come together to build successful ventures.

​In addition to his investing and operating work, Stuart is an educator and advisor active in Canada’s innovation ecosystem. He was an adjunct professor at the Schulich School of Business, where he taught in the MBA and Master of Finance programs, and has been recognized for sharing practical insight on venture capital, private equity, entrepreneurship, and corporate finance.
